Ministry Opportunities

Children's Ministry

The purpose of the Milford Children’s ministry is to meet the spiritual needs of children and their families. Our goal is to provide a safe, secure place where children want to learn about God, Jesus, the Bible, the Church, nature, their family, other people, and of course, themselves!

This is done through Weekly Activities which include:

Sunday School at 10:00am.

Children’s Church meets during the 11am Worship Service.

AWANA which meets every Wednesday during the school year @ 6:15.

There are also Special Activities throughout the year which include activities such as trips, camps and every kid’s favorite event - The Lockin.

Student Ministry

The purpose of the Milford Student Ministry is to help all students and adults to KNOW God personally, GROW in their relationship with God and and GO out into the world and show God’s love towards everyone through word and action.

This is done through Weekly Activities which include:

Sunday School at 10:00am.

Students meet Wednesday at 6:30 pm. Games, Food and Wisdom from the Word. Contact Charity if you need a ride, charityrodriguez@milfordbaptistchurch.com.

Music Ministry

The Milford Music Ministry is more than a song. From the Levites in the Old Testament to the angels in Bethlehem proclaiming the birth of Jesus, the Bible clearly portrays music as an important element in worship. You are invited to join us for choir practice on Wednesday’s at 7:30 in the choir room. **Temporarily Suspended Due to COVID Safety Protocol.

Senior Adult Ministry

The purpose of the Senior Adult Ministry is to provide opportunities to enrich the lives of seniors in the Milford area. The activities include:


SAS Club (Seniors and Such) What is SAS? It is a group of church people who are Seniors and admit it and Such who don't. The purpose is to enjoy fellowship, meals, activities and trips. So, if you are already getting free coffee at Martins (55+). Come join us.


Senior Adult Exercise Group meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the Family Life Center @ 10 AM.

C3 Food Ministry

C3 Ministries is the social ministry arm of Milford Baptist Church. The 3 C’s stand for Christ, Community, Compassion. Ministries include:

Bountiful Baskets. Each Thursday from 3-6 PM, 250 full boxes of food are provided to the people of the Milford community. Over ½ million pounds of food is distributed by this ministry this year.

Helping Hand Me Downs. At different times during the year, Milford provides “Goodwill Gift Cards” in order for families to purchase back to school clothes and winter items.

Health Fair. Twice each year, Milford hosts an extensive health fair in cooperation with Wellstar Health systems and the Kennesaw State University School of Nursing. After an evaluation, guidance and assistance are provided to guide people to the resources for physical and mental health treatment.
